If I want to create a pivot table based on this data, I can click any cell within the table, and then go to the Insert tab on the ribbon, and at the left edge, just underneath the Insert tab itself, youll see Recommended Pivot Tables, and when I click that, Excel creates the pivot table and gives a message indicating how pivot tables help you summarize data.
